The Dashmetry Star Gate adventure consists of a number of "conquests," each of which is characterised by a certain movement style:

• The Cube & UFO: The course starts with a challenging cube segment that includes tight platforming and stair leaps. Afterwards, the UFO portal tests your vertical timing with "bouncy" rhythmic leaps.
• Ship and Mini-Ship: These areas require consistent equilibrium. You must make your way through cramped, dangerous tunnels with deadly spikes lining the floor and ceiling.
• The Wave: This mode requires split-second reactions since it includes lightning-fast zigzagging over diagonal pathways.
• Gravity Shifts: The level frequently switches your gravity or decreases your icon just when you're getting comfortable, requiring you to quickly relearn the way.
