    About Blockader

Blockader is a 2D roguelite arena shooter set on the moon, where space mice fight waves of relentless enemies. Your character moves around a ring-shaped field while automatic weapons do the shooting. You only have to worry about moving, staying alive, and setting up a good defence. When you kill enough enemies, the wave meter fills up and you can choose one of several random boost cards before a harder wave starts.

There are four different types of rare cards that can be used to add effects like extra bullets, chain lightning, poison, dragon allies, and arrows. There are six possible characters, and each has their own style of gameplay. Earning stars during runs lets you permanently move forward through Gear upgrades and character Skill Trees. As you play, eight levels of difficulty, ranged Snipers, an upgrade collection, and a wave leaderboard add new challenges and goals. Pick a rodent, build it up to be strong, and then fight your way through the next lunar attack!

    A Look at the Gameplay

Stay alive in the waves around the lunar arena

In Blockader, your figure fights on a ring-shaped battlefield where waves of enemies come from all sides. Your weapons will fire on their own, so you can focus on moving around the arena and staying alive as each fight goes on. The wave meter fills up as you kill enemies, and when it's full, you move on to a new, more dangerous wave. Later fights put more pressure on them, with eight levels of danger and ranged Snipers adding to the danger.

Random upgrade cards can be used to shape each run.

You can choose one of several randomly given upgrade cards to improve your build between waves. There are more than 100 cards in the game, divided into four rarities. Each card can have different effects, such as extra bullets, chain lightning, poison, dragon allies, or arrows. As enemy waves get harder, different combinations can change how much damage you can do. You can also reroll the open card offer if you want to see more options for upgrades.

Make your power last between attempts.

You can use the stars you earn on runs to permanently improve your Offence, Defence, or Utility gear. A Skill Tree is also available for each of the six playable characters, giving you another way to improve your skills between attempts. A collection of upgraded cards and mysteries that have been found is kept track of, and the wave leaderboard lets you compete for higher waves. Along with the short-term builds that happen during individual runs, these progression systems work together to provide long-term growth.
